Spelling mistake on the birth certficate.. so how do we change it.. i know that you have to go to serveral courts while paying 100%26#039;s... which is annoying but worth it if it means we can cahnge the name..|||Most counties in the US:
Clerk of the court to fill out and file paperwork and appropriate fees.
You%26#039;ll be informed of any specific things that must be done in that county (fingerprints, whatever)
Publish/advertise change
Appear before a judge when ordered
Approval and docketing of change; filed for record at county
Copies to you to use to begin the process with DMV, Social Security, Banks.......
Note; as a rule, they won%26#039;t change the birth certificate names; just give you a new one
