Ok so im 15 years old and i created a yahoo email account when i was 10. I had to use my mom's name and credit card number to create the account, because i was not old enough at the time. so everything is in her name..i tried changing my name and it says its Elizabeth, but whenever i send an e-mail it says its from Marion. To make a long story short, i wanted to see if i could change my name, and i also wanted to maybe switch my email address, idk if thats possible, but i would like to just switch it over or link it without having to tell everyone that i made a new email address, does anyone know if i can do that...and could you please walk me through how to change the name of the sender!!?? thanks a ton:)How to change Name on Yahoo Mail...?You just need to change the %26quot;from line%26quot; setting.

Near the top of that page----erase the name (Marion) that shows on the From line and type in something else---your real name or a nickname or whatever suits you-----then click %26quot;save%26quot; changes at the top or bottom of page.
Just in case you're using the %26quot;New Mail%26quot;.

You can't change an existing address, but you can create another and new account.
Click the %26quot;sign out%26quot; link which will exit the current one----then click the %26quot;sign UP%26quot; link and follow the directions to make a new account.
After that---you'll have two accounts---but you can't be signed in to both accounts at the same time. You always have to %26quot;sign out%26quot; of one before you can %26quot;sign in%26quot; to the other.
