When I was born, my name was misspelled and all through out my life (at school, doctors, etc.) my name had always been mispronounced and/or mistaken for a different name. I am currently 16 and my mom has agreed to legally change my name so that my name is correct. My question is How do my mom and I go about changing my name? How long does it take, etc?
