How do you change your name in the multiplayer in the PC Game Call of Duty 2?

I want to change my name in the multiplayer of Callof Duty 2. How do i do that???????How do you change your name in the multiplayer in the PC Game Call of Duty 2?After you pick the profile go to multiplayer options and you’ll see an option that says “player name” click it and put what ever you want and hit enter when your done or it wont change .you can do this during game play but it will show up warning every one else that you changed it

I dont think you can do it during a session, but if you go to the main menu and go to options, it should be in there, probably in preferences or gameplay in settings
