How do you legally change your name?

im not going to dramatically change it

i have two middle names and i always go by the first one and i never use my real first name

until i started going to driving school, that was literally the first time i had to actually write my real first name

and i dont want to be using it for everything, like job applications or bank accounts etc because i dont like it

sooo yea how do you change it? whats the process like?

The hearing and judges ruling are formalities 99% of the time. Unless someone comes forward with an objection, the hearing will take less than min and your request will be approved.

...write a letter to President Obama and ask him. He was once known as Barry Soetoro !
Easier to hire a lawyer to get it to the court



You can't do it without a judge granting signing the order
I went to the office of the Probate Judge, filled out a form, gave them $10, and they had the judge sign it. Might be different in different states.
