Here is how you change your name on your email.
Go to %26quot;Options%26quot; on the right side of your email page
Click on %26quot;Mail Options%26quot;
Click on %26quot;General Preferences%26quot;
Go down to %26quot;Name and Email%26quot;
Go to From name:
Enter the name you want to show
Click on “Save”
All New Yahoo Mail
Go to %26quot;Options%26quot; on the right side of your email page.
Under “Management” click General Preferences.
“From name:” type in the name you want to show.
Click “Save”

The first options that opens is General. Across from your From Name, go to the box that has your name and change it to whatever you'd like displayed.

Here is how I did it:
1) If you're using the new Yahoo!, then first go to your Yahoo! Mail page. Look in the top left corner and click the link that says: %26quot;Mail Classic.%26quot; Switch to the classic mail setting.
2) In the upper right-hand corner of this page, click the Options link, and then click the Mail Options link.
Okay, now there are two ways to do it... Here's one way:
3a) Click the General link on the left hand side, and change the %26quot;From name:%26quot; area,
Here's an alternate way:
3b) Click the Contacts link (fifth from the bottom) on the Mail Options page.
4) Now, on the next page, click the Mail link on the left-hand side of the page.
5) In the right column of the next page, click the General Preferences link.
6) Now edit the %26quot;From name:%26quot; area to suit your liking. :)
