You will need to let everyone that holds records about your self of your name change. It could cause complications later on. i've just changed my name with http://www.nationaldeedpollservices.org.uk it was quick and easy! Take a look at thier new infomational video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bK2

You are 16... you ARE A CHILD... and CHILDREN can't go to COURT and legally CHANGE THEIR NAME without the PARENT'S PERMISSION... You are stuck with your present name until you turn 18.. .so LIVE WITH IT. By the time you turn 18, hopefully you will be MATURE ENOUGH and INTELLIGENT ENOUGH to see just how WRONG you were when you were 16
Turns out that the rules are determined on the State level. The general process is laid out here: www.ehow.com/how_2053981_legally-change-…
Don't screw your mom out of her well deserved money by changing your name. Wait until you can do it without hurting her.

Also depends on why your changing it. If your changing it just to change it, you need a lawyer and a judge. If it's a social security thing, you need birth certs, ss cards, report cards from school, bills with your name and many other things.
her in the uk you can just change your name ive done it ..you just call yourself the sir name you want ..dont have to see any one ..but you cant change it all the time ...or just ring births marriages deaths they will tell you or a solicitor free first half hour
